Hey there! I’m Sasha Carliann.
Hey there! I’m Sasha Carliann.
I like to hide out in the kitchen—it feels safest there. I still get nervous, especially around the broom. That thing freaks me out, and I shake all over when I see it. I know it makes Mom’s cleaning tougher, but she’s still the best housekeeper I know.
I used to be what people call a stray. Some good folks looked after me from afar, but I was really thin and hungry. One day, a kind person saw someone being cruel to me, and that was when I finally got rescued and taken to a foster home.
I was super anxious at first. I had puppies too, and they all found homes fast. I waited longer… but something beautiful happened. I was adopted and became a "puppy forever"—I’d never be alone again.
My foster mom introduced me to the person who’s now my forever mom. She fostered me and introduced me to my new doggy siblings. We clicked right away, though I was still pretty scared. I’d hide in the kitchen and try to make sense of this new life. The regular meals and treats helped! Mom even keeps the back door open so I can go potty in peace.
I’m gaining weight slowly, and Mom changed my food to help. We even did a DNA test! My vet says I’m part Shar Pei, my first foster thought I had shepherd in me, and Mom suspects I’ve got cattle dog genes. I might even be related to my new sister—we look so much alike!
Big thanks to all the kind people who helped save me. I wouldn’t be here without you.
